2023 Key West Bed Races
Competitors in the Conch Republic Bed Race roll their entries down Duval Street Saturday, April 29, 2023, in Key West, Fla. The wacky race, billed as “the most fun you can have in bed with your clothes on,” was part of the island city's annual Conch Republic Independence Celebration that commemorates the Florida Keys’ symbolic 1982 secession from the United States after the U.S. Border Patrol established a checkpoint at the top of the Florida Keys Overseas Highway.
